Quality Aircraft Accessories Customers:


On September 6th, 2012 Champion Aerospace issued a service bulletin effecting 4200/6200 and 4300/6300 series Impulse Coupled or Direct Drive Magnetos. Please click here to view SB1-12.


Quality Aircraft Accessories is a Champion/Slick authorized service center and in this capacity, we are authorized by Champion/Slick to assist you regarding compliance with this service bulletin.

 

COMPLIANCE IS DEFINED AS:

  • Replace Magneto
  • Replace affected point assemblies
  • If magneto has more than 100 hours Time in Service (TIS), the points can be replaced at the next maintenance interval

QUALITY AIRCRAFT ACCESSORIES CAN PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Replace magneto if purchased from Quality Aircraft Accessories
  • Replacement of defective points (less than 100 hours)
    • Ship magneto to Quality Aircraft Accessories
    • Magneto is serviced the same day it is received at no charge to the operator
    • Return ground freight at no charge
  • Replacement of defective points (more than 100 hours)
    • Points are replaced during 500 hour inspection
    • Cost of 500 hour inspection is reduced by $50.00 to $300.00 and $325.00 for Impulse coupled
