Warranty

If your aircraft accessory or component is not functioning as intended and you suspect a material or workmanship issue, please review the limited warranty policy below to familiarize yourself with our limited warranty policy. You can begin the warranty process by Clicking here to fill out our Warranty Investigation Request Form online.

QAA requires that the Warranty Investigation Request Form be completed before initiating the warranty process.

Once the form is completed, our Warranty Manager will be notified immediately via email. Please print a copy of the online form and include it with the suspect accessory or component and return them to QAA. You will find the shipping address at the top of the form.

For work completed by QAA, you can expect your warranty to be processed the same day it is received. For work performed by one of QAA’s partner suppliers, the warranty adjudication process can take up to one week. In both cases, you can expect to be contacted by QAA’s Warranty Administrator with a disposition of your claim.

Should you require an immediate replacement while your warranty accessory or component is being processed, please contact customer service and they will review your options with you. Note that possible warranty/exchange parts will be subject to the following terms and conditions.

Limited Warranty Policy

Quality Aircraft Accessories warrants that all accessories and components repaired/overhauled/distributed by Quality Aircraft Accessories shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service in accordance to the following:

New or Rebuilt Accessories and Components — OEM Warranty

Overhauled Accessories and Components — Six (6) months

The warranty period begins from the date of installation into the aircraft and such installation shall not exceed six (6) months from the sale date, hence the warranty period will be reduced by the corresponding days greater than six (6) months.

Accessories or Components must be returned within 30 days of product failure date and must be in their "as-removed" state and must be accompanied by a Warranty Investigation Request Form. Alternatively, a Warranty Investigation Request Form can be submitted online in advance to the part being returned. Please refer to the top of the page for a link to the form.

Failure to notify QAA that a part is being returned for warranty investigation may result in warranty denial if the part has been processed prior to the receipt of proper documentation.

Accessories or Components shall not have been disassembled, repaired, or altered in any way without prior authorization.

Accessories or Components shall not have been subjected to misuse, accident, alteration or improper installation. Normal wear of service items shall not be considered defects under this warranty.

The duration of this Limited Warranty shall be for the unused portion of the original warranty period. Any replacement unit or repair of the original unit, shall not establish a new warranty period.

Accessories and Components must be installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturers' recommended procedures and in conformity with applicable FAA/EASA regulations and procedures. At the time of installation, the installing agency assumes all liabilities for the proper installation and operation of Accessory or Component.

The sole responsibility and liability of Quality Aircraft Accessories and your exclusive remedy under this claim arising out of, connected with, or resulting from, this sale or the performance or breach of any condition or warranty there under or from the delivery, or use of the product shall be the repair of, or replacement, or credit for the defective accessory or component at Quality Aircraft Accessories option.

In no event, whether as a breach of contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall Quality Aircraft Accessories be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, or penal damages or expenses, including, but not limited to, the cost of removal and replacement of the accessory or component, loss of associated equipment, damage to associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, cost of troubleshooting, facilities, or services, down time, or cost of claims of third parties for such damages or expenses.

Customer will be responsible for in-bound freight charges associated with accessories and components returned to Quality Aircraft Accessories for warranty evaluation. If warranty is granted, Quality Aircraft Accessories will return accessory or component at our expense using the same method of shipment as original purchase.
