Aircraft Oil Pump Housings

Gear type oil pump housings contain two close fitting gears rotating in a case which is accurately machined to provide minimum space between the gear teeth and case wall. Over time the side clearance of the gears in the pump become too great and oil will bypass the gears causing pressure to not be developed. Ametek/Drake Air has developed an FAA approved process to weld and machine this part back to tolerance. As the exclusive distributor for Ametek/Drake Air, Quality Aircraft Accessories makes this cost savings overhaul available as a customer property overhaul, exchange, or outright sale.

Ametek/Drake Air built its foundation around the General Aviation industry, and supports all general aviation aircraft types with extensive capabilities for Aircraft Oil Coolers, Aircraft Oil Sump Pans, Rear Accessory Cases, Aircraft Oil Pump Housings and Aircraft Alternator Drive Couplings.
